Event Management
A Washington DC-based women’s network wanted to celebrate an important milestone: its 5th Anniversary. Though the organization had previously organized many events, this was its first attempt to plan a true fundraiser. The Executive Director sought our help with event management, fundraising strategy, and volunteer management. The event resulted in a sizeable net profit for the organization and guests were honored to meet and interact with special guests, including an Ambassador and celebrity guest performers.

A 60-year-old Africa education and policy organization wanted to launch a social media presence in time for its major annual gala and conference. We set up and managed their Twitter and Facebook accounts and developed a social media campaign to promote the events. By pushing relevant content, building their audience, and spotlighting their impressive gala honorees, we helped them gain hundreds of Twitter followers and thousands of Facebook likes in just a few months. During the gala and conference, our team was also on-site to tweet live, thereby expanding the reach and messaging to a wider audience. Nearly 400,000 accounts received tweets during the events.
