How about $100,000 of unrestricted funding?

By on October 14, 2011

Yes, you heard that right.

UNrestricted funding. $100,000 of it.

The STARS Foundation recognizes that every organization faces a unique set of funding challenges. So, rather than force award recipients into pre-packaged parameters of resource allocation, the Foundation provides unrestricted funding for organizations who have demonstrated positive impact on the lives of disadvantaged children in one or more of the following areas: Health, Education or Protection. The Impact Awards consist of 8 awards ranging from $15,000 – $60,000 and 6 $100,000 awards which also include:

  • Tailored consultancy support – Offering recipient organizations access to training or skills and helping them to maximise the benefits of their Award
  • Media training, content and access – Providing recipient organizations with the tools and opportunities to use the Award to enhance their profile

The deadline for applications is 1pm GMT on Monday, November 7th 2011, and winners will be announced in September of 2012.

Before you register, check if your organization is eligible. The Impact Awards have devised a clever online application system that won’t let you submit an application unless you meet all eligibility requirements, so save yourself some application writing time and make sure you qualify first!

Good luck, and keep us posted!
